Member Meetings

Membership meetings are held at a local Los Gatos facility on the second Tuesday of the month (except when there is an event). Following a brief business meeting, the club has a speaker. Topics are boating related, covering areas such as racing, cruising, safety, navigation, and maintenance.

Past guest speakers have included America’s Cup participants Dawn Riley and Paul Cayard, representatives from the USS Hornet Museum, the SS Jeremiah O’Brien, the Coast Guard 11th District, and the San Francisco Bay Region Harbor Safety Committee. In addition, local experts such as Kame Richards from Pineapple Sails have shared their knowledge and boating experiences.

The Club has reciprocity with P.I.C.Y.A. member clubs as listed in the Yachting Yearbook. Our members have been welcomed and exchanged burgees at yacht clubs throughout the world.
